NEXPERTS wins first prize in Commercial Track for “The Best NFC Service of the Year 2010”
Touch & Pay makes self-service shopping as easy as possible. The customer's NFC-enabled phone provides access to the store, a virtual shopping basket, and the payment terminal. The principle of Touch & Pay can be extended to rural areas or countries without a POS payment infrastructure.
The award worth 5.000 Euros has been handed over by the Chairman of the
NFC Forum Koichi Tagawa to the founder and CEO of NEXPERTS, Kurt
Schmid in Karlshamn, Sweden. „Winning the first place is a special
motivation for us and encourages our passion to improve and ease the
services on mobile phones. “ says Kurt Schmid. The second and third place
went to companies from USA and Japan.
Touch & Pay is a joint project supported by e24, WINTER AG, Legic, SIX Multipay, Alliera and the University of Applied Science Nordwestschweiz.
